Game on in the 32nd Senatorial District
On Tuesday, December 4th, delegates to the 32nd Senate District Convention gathered to nominate Rob Kane, of Watertown, to be the Republican candidate in the special election to fill the seat of former Sen. Lou DeLuca.
The Democrats assembled this evening to choose their candidate. Two gentlemen were rumored to be seeking the position - Mr. John T. McCarthy of Middlebury and Kenny Curran of Bethlehem. According to Connecticut Local Politics, the Democrats have chosen Ken Curran, whose previous job was that of campaign manager for corrupt Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez.
