As a Ron Paul Republican I find the GOP has lost it way. I attended the GOP Straw poll and Ron Paul turnout was awesome! I think it is a mistake the GOP makes when ignoring what the overwhelming amount of Ron Paul voters are concerned about, special interest running the show, from foster care third party contracts with behavioral health vendors, to supporting candidates like Congressman Shays. Shays point of view to the voter is, we are going to have to agree to disagree. A total lack of respect. It seems that the GOP has selected it's candidate at the peril of it's own party. Liberty sells, peace sells, enforcing laws to prevent another 911 sells, current GOP is no different then the Democrats at this point. The economy a must fix, the American people are waking up to scandal after scandal of CEO big payoffs and the investor and taxpayer is picking up the pieces. So, as you all come crawling to Ron Paul voters to help you in the general election, we are evaluating our standing in the party and plan to take this all the way to the GOP Convention. We are willing to fight for our party, are you?

It was a fun evening, you did a great job in organizing the event. I enjoyed recording the evening for my blog; so much so that I went Saturday night to the Straw Poll at Holy Trinity. My comments and video on both events are on links below.
