The Chairman’s Comments
Chairman Chris Healy released the above video to the media on Tuesday night after the results were announced, and the below text was an audio clip submitted to radio stations across the state.
The campaigns waged for President have made the differences between the Democrats and the Republicans absolutely clear. The Democrats continue to act like its 1960s while the Republicans stand ready to confront challenges of the 21st century.
Senator Clinton’s views were made most clear when she said, “I’ve got a million ideas. America can’t afford them all”. Raising taxes, massive new spending projects, more government, and less freedom are the inevitable result of another Clinton White House.
And for all of his rhetoric, Senator Obama isn’t much different. He talks endlessly about change, but that’s all you’ll have left in your paycheck if he has his way. And he isn’t ready to lead this nation in a time of war.
The Republican Party has always been the Party of Big Ideas and the Party of American Strength. The differences couldn’t be more clear and we look forward to the debate ahead.
