Down the CT Blogroll
It’s been awhile since we’ve done a real “Down the Blogroll”, and its high time that we did.
The first featured post comes from the excellent cttaxed.com, which continues to impress with this handy comparison of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Barack Obama. He concludes, rightly, that JFK wasn’t a very good Kennedy.
| JFK | Obama |
| War Hero | Never Served |
| Reduced Taxes | Will Raise Taxes $280 Billion |
| 10 yrs, Congress/Senate | 2 yrs, Senate |
| Delivers A Good Speech | Delivers A Good Speech |
| Escalated Vietnam | Leave Iraq ASAP |
| Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” |
I’m asking you to believe. |
| Thesis, “Appeasement in Munich,” | Soviet nuclear disarmament |
| In 1963, the Kennedy administration backed a coup against the government of Iraq headed by General Abdel Karim Kassem, who five years earlier had deposed the Western-allied Iraqi monarchy |
Done Nothing Yet |
| Bay of Pigs | Done Nothing Yet |
| Cuban Missile Crisis | Done Nothing Yet |
The other featured post comes from FIC Blog, which notes that they had a good day at the General Assembly on Wednesday.
The day began with a standing-room-only press conference on Rep. Art O’Neill’s homeschooling bill. It ended with all three of the bills FIC Action supports getting raised in committee. Our concepts on homeschooling, fatherlessness and a variation on parental notification were all raised for public hearing by the select committee on children.

Thanks Brian. Just like always, Teddy isn’t fit to carry his brother’s laundry, let alone his legacy.
