Sunday Evening Updates
Primary Updates:
Delegate Counts for the Republicans and the Democrats. Obama took the lead over the weekend with 1137 delegates to Senator Clinton’s 1134. Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. are on tap for Tuesday, where 238 delegates will be up for grabs for the Democrats. Also worthy of note, we’ve updated our GOP Primary Map to reflect the weekend results from Washington, Kansas, and Louisiana. States marked blue went for Romney, green for Huckabee, and yellow for Senator McCain. Once the Democratic nomination is sewn up, we’ll change the map and start tracking polling from each state for the General Election.
Happy Friday Afternoon
Due to strong demand for a return of regular “Happy Friday Afternoon” videos, we’ll be posting a fun Friday video for your enjoyment per normal. In the meantime, the online buzz about the below video has been loud this weekend - 400,000 people have seen this since Friday evening - it’s worth seeing. He’s light on record, wrong on national security and tax policy, but he strikes a chord with people.
