Yeah, I like the way they take a swipe at Ron Paul.
Of course he’s just a kook, along with anyone who believes the fairytale about the NAU.
Annenberg seems to do their own share of misleading as well.
One might do some looking to see who is funding them.
They have a close partnership with PBS that airs their programs - which is funded by the government.
So it’s no surprise that they would downplay any criticism of SPP and NAFTA.
Land is being taken via eminent domain out west to widen these “already existing” highways. The plan is there whether you call it the NAFTA highway or I-69. The borders haven’t been secured and the Mexicans still pour in because they will eventually be staying here anyway. No Amero - sure, right. Don’t think the dollar collapse is by design? The Federal Reserve will be none too happy to be in control of the US economy as well as Canada’s and Mexico’s. If there is no SPP - no NAU - then why are the Canadians fighting it as well?
The plan is plain to see, and how Annenberg can claim that Ron Paul and others are misleading the public on this and the North American Union is outrageous. The plans are in the works. They have been in the works for a while now. It isn’t nefarious - it’s quite out in the open. Congress is funding the highway projects and the infrastructure is being allowed to be ushered in by big Corporate business. There are many more signposts that are pointing the way to a very different USA by 2012.
But yeah - there is really no plan.
People who believe this stuff are just lunatics.
Tell that to the folks who are losing their land. Why do you think Kelo lost her case in New London? It paved the way for the massive taking of 584,000 acres of farm and ranch land at an estimated cost of $11 to $30 billion. After the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Kelo v. City of New London, no one need worry about the power of eminent domain to take private property for public or private development. Bush even put out an executive order reiterating the government’s right to take land.
Explain why American ports and highways are fast slipping into foreign ownership like the Spanish company, Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., which has bought the right to operate a tollroad through Texas and collect tolls for the next 50 years. So much for Annenberg.
Perhaps they need to do some more fact checking on what is really going on out west.
Sorry - I really didn’t mean to rant…
