Jazzed About McCain
The buzz amongst the growing assembly of Convention delegates, Republican State Party Chairs, and guests is that presumptive Republican nominee John McCain has hit a grand slam with his pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
The phone has been ringing off the hook with people gushing about the pick of the Alaskan. Social conservatives, pro-military types, and disaffected Republicans who were morose about the GOP stars are enthused at the bold and surprising pick.
Palin’s story is utterly remarkable - an Army mom, a gun owner, a devout Christian, and the mother of a 7 month old son. Her roots and background are blue collar, she is a union member, and she knows energy issues better than anyone.
Dumb Democrats are licking their chops when thinking about Joe Biden debating Sarah Palin - but they do so at their peril. She showed herself to be comfortable in the spotlight and a good fit for John McCain.

I’m sorry, but I think having this woman a literal breath away from the most powerful position in the free world is a tragic mistake. Was this seriously the BEST Republican out there for VP? It seems nothing more than pandering to the disenfranchised Hillary voters. I am simply stunned at this choice. We are involved in 2 wars. Have an awful housing crisis, and we’re all elated at the story of a soccer mom that could possibly be the President of the United States. What has happened to our party??? Do we really need to resort to these kind of parlor tricks? I was actually convinced that Obama didn’t have the experience to lead… but how am I supposed to take this news??? I can’t believe I’m the only terrified Republican out there???
