It is McCain night at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota and after Gov. Sarah Palin’s speech last night, the rubric is set very high for the Republican Party’s official nominee for President.

The CT delegation is still buzzing about Palin’s home run of a speech last night – which, according to Drudge, generated interest on par with The One’s exalted speech from last week. Vendors on the street today bore witness to the craze: anything with the name Palin on it is selling out at a frantic pace.

Connecticut State Senator David Cappiello will help open the evening’s festivities with a brief speech to the assembled delegation – we are looking forward to it.
