>>Blumenthal is an elitist snob, living off a trust fund, who does not believe in capitalism as the driving force for good and advancement of our society.

Well put!

I was never all that thrilled with Blumenthal, but now that he's abusing his position and office, I have lost all respect that I may of had for the man. We won't be able to go a day without seeing his face on tv, and hearing his voice on the radio announcing his latest lawsuit or activity as AG which is in essence nothing more than free campaign advertising. Where are the calls for Dick to resign his postion as AG from the Hartford Courant, the New Haven Register, etc...? Absolutely no question if he were a Republican the howling and screeching from the left would be deafening.

Yes, I am diametrically opposed to Blumethal's politics. I believe him to be left of Chris Dodd, and only interested in himself and the Democrat party, and not in the people of Connecticut. If he's not corrupt now, he will be after taking the oath to the King. He's turned out to be just another career politician and Democrat party hack. A tool if you will. Having to watch the State of Connecticut degenerate into a cesspool of corruption and self-serving politicians has become depressing. I never thought it would get this bad and I regret not leaving the state 30 years ago when I had the opportunity. Who knew? Who would of believed it would degenerate to this level? And rack up this much debt, which is a whole different subject. This is a very sick state, and I better get out before the medicine is dispensed.

It is said about Richard Blumenthal that "He has never missed a Kohl's opening." So now he thinks he is in charge of bankruptcies? I don't remember that being part of his statutory duties.

The voters hopefully will realize Blumenthal is another Dodd-no accomplishments, another tax and spend Democrat. He can hold his head high to being a contributor of forcing companies out of the state with his nuisance lawsuits and taking their jobs with them. When will the voters learn the Democrats have run this state into the ground.

Our representatives in Congress and in the state house have essentially run the state into the ground with higher taxes and outlandish budgets, Blumenthal has been a party to that with waging lawsuits whenever he can whihc makes the business climate in this state miserable. If you want a reason for CT being rated low on every business rating, look at how the Democrats and Blumenthal have governed. We get 69% back of every dollar we send to DC. The legislature cuts 200 jobs in the state while keeping every lobbying group happy. Blumenthal wanted to spend money from a tobacco settlement on a anti smoking hotline instead of cutting the deficit. Blumenthal is another Dodd who will rubber stamp Democrat policies in DC.

Shades of 1993! Rosa DeLauro is losing her wits because all this reminds her of 1993!

Remember! Rosa was front-and-center in Hillary Care! Rosa stood to become one of the most powerful members of the government if Hillary Care was passed.

But it fell to pieces! Rosa was shamed! She was sidelined by her own party for her unforgivable blunderings, and after the 1994 GOP takeover, devoted most of her time to spreading abortions.

Now, the fight for Hillary Care 2.0 is personal.

She was tasting the sweet venom of unholy revenge for her laughable defeat in 1993. But look! Victory over her hated enemies, the freedom-loving middle class of America, is slipping through her bestial claws!

The more insipid her Democrat crony hack buddies in the Senate become, the more insane Rosa's antics outside Congress appear. Won't be long before her new winter coat will need a straight-jacket built in! Shades of 1993. How sugary sweet it all is!

If only the duped voters of Third District would finally vote out this maniacal bankrupter and elect a principled Republican to be their representative!
