All About Twitter – It’s All the Rage These Days
Twitter is a nifty little tool that allows users to communicate with a group of friends (called “followers”) quickly and easily by posting 140 character “tweets” about what they are doing, what they are reading, etc. It gives people the ability to rapidly distribute short messages or links.
For political organizations, perhaps the best application of Twitter is the opportunity to instantly distribute brief clips of information to a wide group of people. Spreading out information quickly affords us the ability to react quickly and capitalize on the news when possible.

3. Start posting your own updates – Have a good idea? Some juicy news that you’d like to pass along to your friends? Boil the information down to 140 characters and post it on Twitter!
